Referrals & Admissions Information
St Peter's Centre operates a flexible approach to admissions and will always try to work with schools, students and families to provide support for pupils with medical needs.
Initially we recommend schools phone SPC and to speak to the head teacher to find out about availability of places/current programmes.
The head teacher will email the current 'request for support' forms to the school to complete.
Parental consent is essential before any pupil information can be shared.
Medical evidence at consultant level will be required to support the request for a place.
Once a referral is received a meeting will be set up to agree a programme of support.
Schools are likely to identify students for this programme at the end of the Summer Term. However it is possible to make referrals during the Autumn and Spring term.
KS3/4 Return to School Programme
Schools are able to make 'request for support' to St Peter's Centre at any time.
KS3 Intervention Programme
Schools are contacted termly with information about the programme and referral deadlines. Places are allocated to pupils who best fit the criteria for the cohort and are likely to form a cohesive group. Sometimes referrals are held for a future programme.
