Equal Opportunities

St. Peter's Centre promotes equal opportunities for all members of the school community.  This school does not tolerate discrimination on any grounds; this includes protected characteristics of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and  maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation.

The school supports learners who have had difficulties in mainstream school.  We are community of responsible citizens in which learners and staff are expected to promote positive values, attitudes and respect each other and the environment.

Every learner is an individual; each has the ability to be creative; all need to succeed.  We try to meet individual needs, fostering a caring environment and emphasising the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of each student.

Our Equal Opportunities Policy can be found on the Policies page.
